Veriam Music Trust
About Us
Welcome to Veriam Music Trust, a charity set up for the preservation and study of historical wind instruments and sheet music.

The baroque, classical and romantic eras produced some of the greatest music ever made. Our collections give you a behind-the-scenes look at some of the instruments and makers which made it possible. We believe they are a prized heritage, to be studied, cherished and preserved for future generations.

Where are we?
We are very accessible from London and all parts of the UK. We are located in Newport, South Wales, between Bristol and Cardiff with good motorway, rail and air links to the rest of the country and overseas. Our premises are two minutes by car from Junction 27 on the M4 and 10 minutes walk from Newport railway station. There are direct shuttle links between Bristol and Cardiff airports and Newport, and Heathrow is about two hours by rail. There is ample free on-street parking outside our premises. Disabled access is available, please ask for details.
Study sessions
We strongly believe that our historic instruments should be seen, handled and heard (with care). We are happy to offer the opportunity, whether for academic study or personal interest, to come and take a more in-depth look at our instruments. You can hold them, examine them, and where possible, play them. Please get in touch and let us know if you would like to book a study visit.
